King’s Cup eludes Harimau Malaya after shootout loss to Tajikistan

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 26 — Malaysia’s hopes of ending a 44-year wait for glory in the Thailand King’s Cup ended in tatters after losing 3-0 in a penalty shootout to Tajikistan in the final at the 700th Anniversary of Chiang Mai Stadium in Chiang Mai last night.

Pan Gon optimistic despite failing to get players of choice ahead of King’s Cup

PETALING JAYA, Sept 16 — National head coach Kim Pan Gon revealed that many players he had wanted in the squad were not listed in the list ahead of the King's Cup Tournament in Chiang Mai, Thailand from September 22 to 25.
